Change the World
Okay - time to wake up and make the world a better place. Reading material this morning - local newpaper (mainly for sports and comics), The New Yorker, Wall Street Journal, NY Times. Conclusion - different points of view, but no single source has all the answers. It's important to see all sides, but can't help but wondering, "What can an ordinary person do?" Fun reading about bank failures "Banks Keep Failing, No End in Sight" in WSJ in one section and "Sizable Paycheck for Citi's Prize Hire" on front page. Does paying Mr. Trauber up to $30 million over three years make the world a better place? Of course this appears to be chump change compared to the $98.9 million received by star trader Andrew Hall for 2008. Have another cup of coffee - discuss....
